Cosplay Lead - Remote

Overview

The Cosplay Lead will support the DreamHack Dallas festival by managing various aspects of cosplay competitions and community engagement, ensuring a smooth experience for participants and attendees.

• Temporary position from March to June 2025.
• Assisting the Product Manager of Community & Associations.
• Outreach to accepted competitors for promotion.
• Curating materials for marketing purposes.
• Managing pre-registration and ensuring contestant qualifications.
• Communicating with competitors and coordinating logistics.
• Managing Cosplay Crew during the event.
• Ensuring smooth execution of cosplay competitions.
• Documenting feedback and post-show reports.
• Travel and accommodations covered for onsite participation.

Requirements

• Experience in event management or cosplay.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage logistics and coordinate teams.
• Familiarity with cosplay culture and community.
• Organizational skills for handling multiple tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure during events.
• Experience in marketing or promotions is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to Dallas for the event.
• Basic knowledge of contracts and paperwork.
• Leadership skills to manage crew and volunteers.
