Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are looking to hire an experienced Accountant to join our team in our growing office in Zagreb, contributing to various accounting responsibilities in a supportive and collaborative environment.

In Short

• Post supplier invoices, expense reports, and journals for small entities.
• Reconcile bank transactions and pay supplier invoices.
• Communicate with external accountants and maintain accounts files.
• Coordinate with internal parties for intercompany activities.
• Answer accounting procedure questions and ensure timely payments.
• Support external and Group audits as required.
• Handle additional duties as needed within the role.

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or equivalent.
• At least 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong Excel and data analytical skills.
• Good business acumen and ability to understand complex environments.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
• Experience in a busy office environment.
