Accountant - Remote

Overview

Avery Dennison is seeking an Accountant to join their dynamic accounting team, supporting the Corporate North America Shared Services team and Solutions Group business.

In Short

• Join a global materials science company.
• Support accounting functions using Oracle R12.
• Book journal entries and complete account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
• Prepare monthly payroll and expense entries.
• Monitor and adjust various accounts.
• Engage in project management related to accounting activities.
• Drive accountability and teamwork within the organization.
• Utilize performance management tools for personal development.
• Work in a hybrid arrangement: 3 days in office, 2 days remote.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with Oracle is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
