Overview

Avery Dennison is seeking a Divisional Manufacturing Automation Engineer to join our North America Materials Group. This remote-based role involves leading automation efforts across a vast manufacturing network and providing technical solutions to complex problems.

In Short

• Develop and execute a five-year strategic automation roadmap.
• Define the technical scope for automation projects.
• Lead complex engineering projects within budget and scheduling guidelines.
• Provide coaching to site-level technical teams.
• Benchmark and transfer best practices globally.
• Act as the prime technical contact on major projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of engineering experience.
• Strong background in industrial electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and project management tools.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma principles preferred.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
