Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer at Boeing will support the Advanced Composites Center by developing production methodologies and leading manufacturing plans for aerospace projects.

In Short

  • Support the Advanced Composites Center in Hazelwood, Missouri.
  • Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies.
  • Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
  • Conduct producibility and variation analyses.
  • Analyze design/build concepts.
  • Implement lean principles and technologies.
  • Coordinate new engineering principles and advanced technologies.
  • Assist in providing producibility information for project plans.
  • Work onsite at one of the listed location options.
  • Meet export control compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in engineering or related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with model based engineering tools.
  • Experience in CAD systems (CATIA/UG).
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP implementations.
  • ABET Accredited Bachelor of Science Engineering Degree preferred.
  • 5+ years' related work experience is typical.
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by export control laws.
  • Relocation assistance is not provided.
  • First shift position.
