Overview

The Experienced Manufacturing Engineer will support the Advanced Composites Center at Boeing Defense, Space and Security, focusing on improving manufacturing processes and methodologies.

In Short

  • Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies.
  • Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
  • Conduct producibility and variation analyses.
  • Resolve technical problems impacting performance, cost, or schedule.
  • Implement lean principles and technologies.
  • Analyze design/build concepts for manufacturability.
  • Coordinate new engineering principles and concepts.
  • Assist in documenting producibility best practices.
  • Must work onsite at the Hazelwood, MO location.
  • Meet export control compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years of experience with model-based engineering tools.
  • Experience in aerospace or defense industries.
  • Proficient in CAD systems (CATIA/UG).
  • Experience with SAP or ERP systems.
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex engineering problems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work in a Drug Free Workplace.
  • Must be a U.S. Person for compliance purposes.
