People & Compliance Partner - Remote

Overview

The People & Compliance Partner will drive people-centric practices across all regions while ensuring compliance, focusing on employee relations, industrial relations, and compliance initiatives.

In Short

• Drive employee relations and compliance initiatives.
• Consult on performance management and conflict resolution.
• Support Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment plan.
• Manage performance improvement plans and grievance procedures.
• Guide leaders on compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
• Oversee HR compliance and work with external consultants.
• Participate in global learning and development initiatives.
• Implement B-BBEE strategy and support skills development initiatives.
• Act as a contributor to people-centric initiatives.
• Provide training and coaching to management on performance management.

Requirements

• Relevant degree in Human Resources Management or Industrial Psychology.
• Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including labor relations.
• Experience in performance improvement and disciplinary processes.
• Knowledge of South African labor law and B-BBEE legislation.
• Proven track record in managing complex employee relations issues.
• Experience in technology, fintech, or SaaS environments preferred.
• Familiarity with tools like Excel, Slack, and BambooHR.
• High conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to guide and train management effectively.
• Data-driven decision-making skills.
