Coordinator, Grants - Remote

Overview

As the Coordinator, Grants, you will play an essential role in supporting the delivery and administration of national grant programs that strengthen community partnerships and advance Food Banks Canada’s mission to end hunger.

In Short

• Assist with the administration of national grant programs, including administering applications and providing support through Food Banks Canada’s grant portal (SurveyMonkey Apply)
• Gather and save photos, quotes, and impact reports that are relevant to the grant outcomes from SMApply and complete general data entries
• Lead the follow up process with grant recipients to ensure timely completion of all grant-related requirements
• Collect and organize data across all grant programs to support monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement
• Assist the Program Manager, Grants in building and maintaining strong relationships with the network and program partners
• Work collaboratively with the Grants team to support the delivery and coordination of program activities and timelines

Requirements

• Completion of a post-secondary college diploma program or equivalent in business, administration, or a related field and minimum 2 years’ professional experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and knowledge of donor reporting
• Strong experience with Excel and working with large data sets
• Familiarity with basic budgeting and financial record-keeping
• Strong customer service skills and relationship building experience
• Experience assisting with programs involving multiple stakeholders
• Clear, professional, and warm communicator
• Superior listening skills and customer service skills
• Project coordination and issue management skills
• Experience supporting granting programs funded by the Government of Canada is an asset
• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset

• Full-time, Monday-Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work
• The position is remote and may be based anywhere in Canada
• Occasional travel within Canada may be required
