Commercial Counsel - Singapore - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Counsel to join our Legal Team in Singapore. In this role, you will support complex commercial transactions across the APAC region, including SaaS, licensing, and strategic partnerships, while helping the company navigate diverse legal and regulatory frameworks in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence.

In Short

• Draft, review, negotiate, and close complex commercial agreements.
• Partner with regional teams to implement go-to-market strategies.
• Monitor evolving APAC legal and regulatory developments.
• Develop and localize contract templates and policies.
• Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice to cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to scaling the Legal Team’s commercial function.

Requirements

• JD, LLB, or equivalent legal qualification.
• 6-12 years of relevant legal experience.
• Proven track record in drafting and negotiating agreements.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise software licensing and data protection.
• Experience advising on privacy and cybersecurity issues in Asia.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
