Software Engineer (Full-Stack) - Remote

Join eHealth in creating a better way to guide consumers through their health insurance options. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will help build scalable applications for our consumer health insurance marketplace.

In Short

• Build and maintain scalable services and web applications.
• Work with technologies like Node.js, React.js, Vue.js, and GraphQL.
• Translate UX mockups into mobile-friendly interfaces.
• Implement and consume REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and component library design.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in full-stack web application development.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, Node.js, and a frontend framework.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Strong grasp of core web technologies.
• Understanding of microservices architecture is a plus.
• Experience with cloud environments like AWS is preferred.
• Exposure to AI/ML APIs is a plus.
• Experience in agile environments.
