Overview

As a Business Development Manager at Distran, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships in the industrial Oil and Gas sector, while promoting innovative safety technology.

In Short

  • Open and develop relationships with clients in the industrial O&G sector.
  • Acquire new customers and perform on-site demos.
  • Attend conferences and trade fairs to represent Distran.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager USA.
  • Plan and implement marketing actions.
  • Ensure data accuracy in CRM and prepare proposals.
  • Work autonomously and manage various tasks.
  • Travel regionally for business (approx 40%).
  • Maintain a clean driving record and possess a TWIC Card.
  • Pass background checks including education and criminal.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar sales position.
  • Degree in Science, Technical, Business or Industrial Distribution.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas or Energy industry.
  • Proven track record in Sales and Account Management.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented.
  • Solution-driven and consultative sales approach.
  • Health and Safety and Environmental protection focus.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Located in Louisiana with easy access to a major airport.
