Field Application Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Field Application Engineer will focus on maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction and experience with Distran products through effective training and technical support.

In Short

• Organize and conduct product trainings for customers, both onsite and remotely.
• Conduct internal product and application trainings for the sales team and distributors.
• Provide high-quality technical support to customers.
• Assist the Business Development team during customer qualification and demonstrations.
• Collect information about end-user applications and develop new applications if necessary.
• Synthesize and share operational market intelligence from customer sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Chemistry or related.
• Previous experience in technical customer support and/or client training.
• Good technical writing skills.
• Experience in training delivery to various audience sizes.
• Training design and development experience.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Project management skills.
• Service orientation and customer focus.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
