Overview

As an OSINT Researcher at DeleteMe, you will conduct thorough open-source investigations to enhance the company's scan and risk assessment capabilities, contributing to the protection of online privacy for members.

In Short

• Conduct thorough open-source investigations using public, social media, and deep/dark web resources.
• Utilize advanced search techniques and OSINT tools for data collection and analysis.
• Identify threats, trends, and patterns in public data relevant to organizational objectives.
• Deliver findings in high quality research products for internal and external use.
• Act as subject matter expert for data privacy, fielding ad hoc operational requests.
• Assist in managing escalations for high priority customer issues.
• Audit internal and external documentation for accuracy, updating as required.
• Fixed-term contract for six months with potential for full-time opportunity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Cybersecurity or Information Technology.
• 1–3 years of experience in OSINT or a related field.
• Passion for privacy protection with professional qualifications preferred.
• Power user of tools in Data Collection, Social Media Analysis, Geolocation, and Network Analysis.
• Experience using investigative tools such as Maltego, Spiderfoot, or Shodan.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively.
• Adaptability in a fast-moving, dynamic workplace.
• Familiarity with G Suite tools.
