Overview

As the Director of Product Payroll Compliance, you will lead efforts to develop scalable payroll engines across the Americas, ensuring our solutions are compliant and efficient.

In Short

  • Lead research to develop compliant payroll engines across the Americas.
  • Collaborate with the development team to design and optimize workflows that align with local regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure legislative changes are incorporated into engine configurations promptly and accurately.
  • Develop resources and frameworks to support compliance decision-making at every stage of the product lifecycle.
  • Drive end-to-end project execution for payroll system enhancements and new implementations.
  • Lead and manage a team of compliance professionals, overseeing payroll compliance activities across the Americas.
  • Provide expert guidance on legislative compliance matters, including audits and regulatory inquiries.
  • Act as the primary liaison between compliance, engineering and product teams.
  • Foster relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in managing compliance in a global environment.
  • Strong ability to translate regulatory requirements into clear workflows.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring payroll compliance teams.
  • Collaborative working style across departments.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll compliance regulations in multiple countries.
  • Excellent project management skills, familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
