Overview

The Business Development Specialist– Life Sciences is responsible for creating, identifying, and closing new business opportunities within the Life Sciences and Controlled Environments markets, focusing on expansion into new accounts and applications.

  • Responsible for hunting and acquiring new end-user accounts.
  • Drive territory expansion and identify new market opportunities.
  • Own the full opportunity lifecycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.

  • Translate customer needs into tailored product offerings.
  • Develop compelling value propositions for clients.
  • Willingness to travel 50-60% for business.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Life Sciences or related fields.
  • Strong sales process discipline and CRM experience.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and influence cross-functionally.
  • Understanding of GMP standards and cleanroom protocols.
  • Knowledge of DuPont™ Tyvek® IsoClean® products is preferred.
