This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the top law firms in the U.S.! Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is looking for a Manager, Lawyer Talent Acquisition to join our team in our New York or Washington D.C. offices.

In Short

  • Guide and advise lateral candidates through the recruiting process.
  • Manage due diligence and offer process.
  • Maintain post-offer communications with candidates.
  • Work closely with firm leaders on strategic hiring initiatives.
  • Collaborate to develop candidate profiles and identify prospects.
  • Monitor trends in compensation and professional development.
  • Conduct training for the recruiting team.
  • Develop relationships with legal search firms.
  • Supervise and train junior team members.
  • Travel as necessary.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience as a legal recruiter.
  • Knowledge of law firm industry trends.
  • Strong relationships in legal markets.
  • Active involvement in industry professional groups.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, JD preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse groups in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive execution of recruitment strategy.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products.
