Solicitor - Large Loss Personal Injury - Remote

Overview

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within the Complex Injury Claims Team dealing with large loss claims, assisting lead lawyers and managing your own multi-track files.

In Short

• Manage a caseload of approx. 45 large loss complex injury claims.
• Work with Lead Lawyer on claims in excess of £1m.
• Communicate with insurer clients and advise them on claims.
• Develop relationships with clients to attract work.
• Draft pleadings and conduct forensic analysis of evidence.
• Engage with other solicitors to progress cases.
• Attend site visits, meetings, and mediations.
• Record chargeable hours and delegate tasks to junior members.
• Maintain case management systems with up-to-date information.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor with personal injury experience.
• Experience handling high value multi-track personal injury claims.
• Knowledge of case law and litigation practices.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles.
• Ability to make decisions and manage pressure.
• Driven and positive attitude towards development opportunities.
• Attention to detail and clear communication skills.
• Ability to delegate effectively.
