Solicitor - Large Loss Personal Injury - Remote

Overview

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within the Complex Injury Claims Team dealing with large loss claims, assisting lead lawyers on complex claims and managing your own multi-track files.

In Short

• Manage a caseload of approx. 45 large loss complex injury claims.
• Work with the Lead Lawyer on claims in excess of £1m.
• Communicate with insurer clients and advise them on claims.
• Draft pleadings for complex cases.
• Perform forensic analysis of liability and quantum evidence.
• Build rapport with solicitors for other parties.
• Attend site visits and client meetings.
• Engage with counsel and experts.
• Record chargeable hours.
• Maintain case management systems.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor.
• High value multi-track personal injury experience.
• Experience handling cases over £100K.
• Understanding of case law and litigation processes.
• Strong knowledge of insurance principles.
• Ability to make decisions based on facts.
• Calm under pressure with delegation skills.
• Confidence to innovate and adapt.
• Attention to detail and instruction skills.
