IS Business Analyst - Bill Review - Remote

Overview

The IS Business Analyst - Bill Review is responsible for analyzing and resolving billing data issues, supporting claims business systems, and acting as a liaison between the Bill Review department and IT.

• Analyze and resolve Bill review related data issues.
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT.
• Provide application support to users.
• Support client implementations and system configuration.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Maintain and update Fee Schedule and related code tables.
• Utilize SQL to query databases and support reporting.
• Automate manual processes to improve efficiency.
• Instruct clients on proper system usage.
• Collaborate with developers on new software applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year in a Help Desk/IS technician environment.
• Minimum two years in a critical thinking position.
• Medical Bill Review experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Team-oriented and self-motivated.
• Experience with software and troubleshooting data issues.
• Effective communication skills.
• Advanced skills in Excel, PowerBI, and PowerApps preferred.
• Knowledge of SQL, XML, Visual Basic, ASP, JSP, HTML is a plus.
