Overview

The Commercial Liability Claim Adjuster will handle and supervise complex liability and property claims, ensuring effective negotiation and resolution.

In Short

• Negotiate and settle large exposure commercial general liability and property claims.
• Experience with construction defect, N.Y Labor Law, and medical malpractice is a plus.
• Prepare written status and large loss reports for clients.
• Interpret routine and complex policy contracts.
• Plan and organize responsibilities under critical deadlines.
• Attend mediations and settlement conferences.
• Monitor defense counsel to settle litigated claims.
• Provide monetary authority to counsel.
• Knowledge of current case law and DOI regulations.
• Evaluate and resolve claims effectively.
