Commercial General Liability Adjuster - Remote

Overview

A full-time remote position for a Commercial General Liability Adjuster responsible for handling complex and litigated liability and property claims.

In Short

• Negotiate and settle large exposure commercial general liability and property claims.
• Prepare written status and large loss reports for clients.
• Interpret routine and complex policy contracts and coverage.
• Plan and organize responsibilities under critical deadlines.
• Direct and monitor defense counsel to settle litigated claims.
• Provide monetary authority and strategy to counsel.
• Knowledge of case law and DOI regulations.
• Evaluate, investigate, and resolve claims.
• Demonstrate analytical skills.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience handling commercial general liability claims.
• Adjuster’s License Required.
• NY License preferred or willingness to obtain additional licenses.
• Coverage analysis and risk transfer assessment skills.
• Proactive and independent work ethic.
• Superb written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
