Workers' Compensation Customer Service Representative / IME Scheduler - Remote

Overview

The NY Workers' Compensation CSR / IME Scheduler is responsible for receipt of new cases and ensuring proper system drafting and setup. The CSR also is responsible for taking direction and facilitating the case assignment/scheduling process.

In Short

• Intake new cases and verify information.
• Draft cases in the Dane Street system, AccessDS.
• Assign/schedule new cases to physicians.
• Monitor and track cases to meet deadlines.
• Update clients on cases in progress.
• Ensure proper documentation for specified cases.
• Communicate with clients regarding referral information.
• Handle other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Must maintain an uninterrupted internet connection for work from home.
• Requires long periods of sitting and computer work.

Requirements

• An Associate’s Degree is preferred.
• Business experience in healthcare and/or insurance is preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to apply critical thinking and manage time efficiently.
• Computer literacy and typing skills are essential.
