Overview

The Vice President Business Development is a key leadership role responsible for expanding and strengthening the current portfolio of commercial accounts while driving the acquisition of new business opportunities.

In Short

  • Lead a team in growing local and regional key accounts.
  • Manage P&L for existing accounts.
  • Develop effective sales plans to meet revenue targets.
  • Work with lead generators to ensure high-quality leads.
  • Identify and fill RFIs and RFPs.
  • Conduct client visits to build rapport.
  • Attend networking events to foster business relationships.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction through metrics.
  • Stay updated on industry trends.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years in Sales and Business Development.
  • 5+ years in MSP/VMS, Direct and SOW-based clients.
  • Experience with RFI/RFP processes.
  • Ability to build sales automation systems.
  • Willingness to travel 30-40% of the time.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Growth-oriented mindset.
  • Tech-savvy with current recruitment trends.
