Deputy Compliance Officer & DMLRO (Global Exchange) - Remote

Overview

The Deputy Compliance Officer & DMLRO will ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, particularly focusing on virtual asset services, while liaising with stakeholders and managing compliance programs.

• Liaise with stakeholders for licensing applications and regulatory reporting.
• Monitor regulatory developments and enforce adherence to requirements.
• Communicate updates to the legislative framework to all stakeholders.
• Support CCO and MLRO with regulatory exams and engagements.
• Provide updates to Senior Management and the Board on compliance status.
• Manage external reviews and lead action plans for compliance findings.
• Implement pricing policies to prevent unfair trading practices.
• Oversee complaints and marketing materials for regulatory alignment.
• Establish a risk management framework for internal and external risks.
• Adopt policies to manage conflicts of interest and insider trading.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in compliance within financial institutions.
• Understanding of regulations for virtual asset service providers.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory challenges with digital assets.
• Ability to interpret regulatory guidance and its impact on business.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with local regulators is a plus.
• Knowledge of virtual financial assets and banking preferred.
• Able to work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment.
