Legal Counsel – Compliance & Regulatory - Remote

Overview

As Legal Counsel – Compliance & Regulatory, you will be a key enabler for the builders we back. You’ll help shape the regulatory and compliance framework that allows deep-tech founders to move fast, innovate boldly, and scale safely. You’ll work at the intersection of law, technology, and entrepreneurship, supporting a dynamic ecosystem where progress is driven by those who dare.

In Short

• Monitor and interpret national and EU regulatory frameworks.
• Prepare and submit mandatory regulatory reports to the CMVM.
• Act as an internal contact for CMVM and supervisory authorities.
• Support internal compliance programmes and policies.
• Assist with audits and regulatory assessments.
• Draft and negotiate commercial and investment contracts.
• Provide legal risk assessments to stakeholders.
• Work with internal stakeholders on legal alignment.
• Contribute to compliance culture initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Law.
• 3–4 years of experience in compliance/regulatory law.
• Experience at a law firm or regulated company.
• Direct interaction with the CMVM.
• Strong understanding of CMVM regulatory regimes.
• Experience in drafting commercial contracts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
