The Certified Ophthalmic Assistant provides advanced administrative and technical support to an ophthalmologist in a clinical setting, performing various visual tests and assisting with patient care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification.
  • Basic Life Support certification required.
  • Experience in a supervised ophthalmologic office preferred.

  • Ability to perform various ophthalmic tests and procedures.
  • Knowledge of medical abbreviations and terminology.
  • Commitment to patient care services.
