Overview

The Certified Ophthalmic Assistant will conduct technical and administrative patient support activities in the outpatient ophthalmic clinic, assisting professional staff in providing healthcare and support to patients and families.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) required.
  • Experience as an ophthalmic assistant preferred (0-1 year).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Strong patient/customer service skills.
  • Ability to comprehend instructions verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat DC.
