In Short

  • Drive special order sales to increase market share.
  • Provide product knowledge training and demonstrations.
  • Maintain existing stock business and ensure product integrity.
  • Engage with store personnel to build rapport.
  • Plan sales activities and report using CRM tools.
  • Resolve customer complaints and recommend solutions.
  • Provide feedback on competitive environment and sales opportunities.
  • Travel 25%+ with overnight stays may be required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proven direct sales experience in the building products industry preferred.
  • Understanding of the building products industry and home improvement retail channel preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Solid time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to adapt and embrace change positively.
  • Collaborative mindset to achieve common goals.
