Overview

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for managing a designated territory, supporting a sales team, and growing sales revenue by effectively prospecting, qualifying, and selling while representing Cornerstone Building Brands.

In Short

  • Manage designated territory and sales team.
  • Prospect and develop an account base.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support.
  • Conduct customer account development training.
  • Participate in customer trade shows.
  • Service existing accounts and establish new ones.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and gather marketplace information.
  • Submit annual sales forecasts and weekly reports.
  • Handle customer complaints and develop solutions.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications for sales presentations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3 years of direct sales experience, preferably in the building products industry.
  • Knowledge of sales management and building products.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with sales planning and budgeting.
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong personal motivation and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (75%+).
