In Short

  • Expand and cultivate existing accounts while establishing new ones to drive sales growth.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and conduct competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze market segments to identify opportunities for growth and development.
  • Strategically plan daily activities using CRM and a structured call frequency system.
  • Conduct sales promotions, educational meetings, and lead generation activities.
  • Recommend pricing changes based on market dynamics and competitive analysis.
  • Address customer complaints promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain thorough sales records, including customer profiles and territory/account sales records.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of proven direct sales experience, preferably in the building products industry.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of the building products industry.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Solid time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new processes and technologies.
  • Willingness to travel 50%+ with consistent overnight travel.
