Overview

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for developing new business and increasing market share in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota, utilizing Continental’s Authorized Distributor Network.

In Short

  • Identify and cultivate new business partnerships.
  • Promote and sell engineered products and services.
  • Train distributors and end-users on products.
  • Develop plans to meet with customers and secure new business.
  • Participate in industry trade shows.
  • Use business technology tools to manage territory activities.
  • Inspect equipment and offer solutions in a manufacturing environment.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com and other data tools for performance tracking.
  • Travel 50% of the time with overnight stays.
  • Reside within the territory of Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant sales experience.
  • Competent in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience in an industrial setting.
  • Experience conducting presentations and customer meetings.
  • Ability to use/learn CRM systems.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must be able to travel at least 50% of the time.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
