Overview

The Enterprise Account Executive - Fed is responsible for achieving quota by selling solutions into a defined account list that may include current Commvault customers and high-value prospects. This role involves engaging in face-to-face sales with customers and prospects either directly or through partners.

In Short

  • Achieve quarterly and annual quotas by selling to large, complex prospects and customers.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans for target account expansion.
  • Coordinate company personnel to meet account performance objectives.
  • Lead a matrixed sales team to drive prospects to close.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with key personnel in accounts.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals to clients.
  • Identify and build strategic relationships with partners.
  • Negotiate and close deals following company practices.
  • Maintain a high level of relevant industry knowledge.
  • Leverage internal sales tools to drive opportunities to a close.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and validated sales experience.
  • Success in software sales at the enterprise level.
  • Deep understanding of the storage management or data management industry.
  • Minimum of two years of success in building relationships and selling.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Background in IT infrastructure; SaaS experience preferred.
