KYC Operations Specialist - Remote

Overview

The KYC Ops role is instrumental in safeguarding Column from financial crimes and ensuring compliance with AML and Sanctions regulations. This position will impact the Bank’s growth strategy by ensuring regulatory expectations are met in onboarding new customers.

In Short

• Execute collection, review, and reconciliation of CIP and CDD information.
• Perform detailed reviews of customer files to confirm compliance.
• Manage end-to-end ownership of customer files.
• Collaborate with BSA/AML Compliance and Growth teams.
• Provide training based on control review themes.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field; CAMS preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in AML compliance, specifically KYC.
• Quality control/testing experience in AML Compliance program is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of AML laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in AML software and data analysis tools.
