Staff Platform Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Staff Platform Engineer at Collibra, you will develop, implement, and maintain the engineering ecosystem that supports cloud-based software, enabling customers to optimize the Collibra software platform.

In Short

• Develop and maintain engineering ecosystem for cloud-based software.
• Support development, release management, and test engineering teams.
• Provide training and self-service capabilities to stakeholders.
• Build scalable software applications.
• Code and test using Java, Groovy, Golang, and/or Python.
• Utilize Git, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Ensure compliance with security standards.
• Research and apply emerging technologies.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Secure deployment of SaaS systems in a multi-cloud model.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus 5 years of experience, or Bachelor's with 7 years.
• Experience in building scalable software applications.
• Proficiency in Java, Groovy, Golang, and/or Python.
• Experience with Git and GitOps principles.
• Familiarity with Ansible and Terraform.
• Knowledge of security compliance and auditing.
• Experience with cloud vendors' security models.
• Ability to implement IaC and security standards.
• Experience with multi-cloud delivery models.
• Strong problem-solving and research skills.
