Overview

The Curriculum Specialist plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of Becker’s Continuing Professional Education (CPE) catalog, responsible for reviewing and updating course content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance with industry standards.

In Short

• Regularly review courses in the CPE catalog.
• Collaborate with Senior Specialists and Managers for course updates.
• Audit course data monthly for accuracy.
• Review webcast calendar for metadata accuracy.
• Implement minor course updates and corrections.
• Evaluate and edit CPE courses for clarity and relevance.
• Write and review CPE course questions and glossaries.
• Assist in designing and developing curriculum for the CPE catalog.
• Evaluate and implement new technology for course development.
• Generate reports and provide ad-hoc data analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Active CPA License required.
• Experience in accounting research, curriculum development, or educational content review preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or auditing.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and industry regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to analyze course data for accuracy.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into educational materials.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
