Special Operations Threat Investigations Analyst - Remote

We are looking for a Special Operations Threat Investigations Analyst on Cloudflare’s Trust and Safety team. If you’re passionate about making the web safer, have extensive experience investigating, and building things that benefit others, are driven to execute at warp-speed, like solving problems yourself and enabling technical teams to be productive and move quickly, we’d love to talk.

In Short

• Conduct threat investigations related to potential misuse of Cloudflare’s platform.
• Analyze external abuse trends to provide actionable insights.
• Maintain existing systems owned by Trust & Safety.
• Create high-quality reports and executive briefings.
• Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends and tools.
• Promote a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Develop and update Trust & Safety policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with the Trust & Safety Engineering team.
• Ensure compliance with security and access policies.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in threat investigations or Information Security.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and ownership.
• Well-rounded technical background in infrastructure technologies.
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, Go, or Node.js preferred.
