In Short

• Join the META Professional Services team at Cloudera.
• Work directly with customers to implement Big Data solutions.
• Design and implement Hadoop and NiFi platform architectures.
• Perform platform installations and upgrades.
• Analyze distributed production deployments for performance optimization.
• Document and present complex architectures.
• Travel up to 75% across the META region.
• Engage in pre-and post-sales processes.
• Stay current with Hadoop Big Data technologies.
• Contribute to technical documentation and blogs.

Requirements

• 10+ years in Information Technology and System Architecture.
• 5+ years of Professional Services experience.
• Experience architecting large scale storage and data solutions.
• Knowledge of data management concepts.
• Experience with data transformation and processing solutions.
• Ability to design data queries using Apache Hive.
• Experience in configuring multi-node Hadoop clusters.
• Strong experience in enterprise Linux environments.
• Understanding of various enterprise security solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
