Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

Clipboard Health is expanding to support our growth by adding a high-performing Senior Accountant to the Finance team! This role will require strong communication and organizational skills to ensure the company’s consolidated financial statements are prepared timely and accurately.

In Short

• Responsible for the monthly accounting close including preparing journal entries and financial reporting.
• Understand relevant accounting principles and communicate them effectively.
• Analyze current procedures for efficiency and scalability improvements.
• Support external audit processes and enhance internal controls.
• Assist in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Engage in special projects and impromptu reporting as needed.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to implement efficient accounting procedures.
• Work independently with minimum supervision.
• Ideal for detail-oriented, analytical thinkers.
• Must be able to work in Pacific Standard Time zone.

Requirements

• 2-3+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CPA and recent Big Four experience preferred.
• Experience in a technology or high-growth company is a plus.
• NetSuite experience is preferred.
• Ability to work with incomplete information in a fast-paced environment.
• Extreme curiosity and a first principles mindset.
• Experience researching and documenting accounting conclusions.
