Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

Clipboard Health is expanding to support our growth by adding a high-performing Senior Accountant to the Finance team! This role involves managing month-end close, preparing and posting journals, and collaborating with the Finance team to implement efficient accounting procedures.

In Short

• Responsible for the monthly accounting close including journal entries and financial reporting.
• Communicate relevant accounting principles to peers and business partners.
• Analyze procedures and recommend process improvements.
• Operate with minimum supervision.
• Support external audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Handle special projects and reporting on request.
• 2-3+ years of relevant accounting experience required.
• Advanced MS Excel skills needed.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.

Requirements

• 2-3+ years of recent accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CPA and recent Big Four experience preferred.
• Experience in a technology or high-growth company preferred.
• NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Curiosity and problem-solving mindset required.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and incomplete information.
