In Short

• Lead monthly accounting close activities, including general ledger analysis, journal entries, complex account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. and international tax regulations by coordinating with external tax partners for both income and sales tax filings.
• Assist leadership with cash management duties such as maintaining and updating cash forecasts.
• Support audit processes for both U.S. and international entities, serving as a point of contact for external auditors.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and maintain internal documentation for accounting procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in the financial close cycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on accounting projects and ensure consistency with global accounting standards.
• Maintain awareness of functional currency impacts on financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Take initiative on special assignments and adapt to evolving team needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting roles, preferably in a senior capacity.
• Strong understanding of U.S. and international accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with accounting software and financial reporting tools.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
