Payroll Manager - Remote

In Short

• Oversee global payroll, including US and Canada semi-monthly and bi-weekly pay cycles
• Subject matter expert in payroll-related items, including various earnings codes, deductions, withholdings, taxation, and employee mobility
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and international tax laws
• Develop and maintain payroll policies, calendars, controls, and process documentation
• Own accounting journal entries and reconciliations for payroll transactions
• Partner with People Team to implement employee changes accurately
• Manage third party payroll/HRIS provider relationships
• Support ad hoc projects including financial statement audits
• 7+ years of experience, including 3+ years leading payroll function
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

Requirements

• Strong experience with payroll accounting
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven track record of scaling payroll function
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent Microsoft Excel skills
