Payroll Manager - Remote

Overview

The Payroll Manager will manage end-to-end payroll operations for a multi-state workforce, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, while complying with all applicable regulations.

In Short

• Manage multi-state payroll processing for employees.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll transactions.
• Maintain compliance with Federal, State, and Local payroll tax matters.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for payroll systems.
• Collaborate with People Operations on employee leave payments.
• Assist with audits and prepare necessary reports.
• Champion a positive employee payroll experience.
• Provide financial and operational reporting as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 6-8 years of in-house multi-state payroll experience.
• Experience with payroll/HRIS systems required.
• Knowledge of Federal and State HR/Payroll Laws.
• Strong knowledge of 401(k) payroll deductions.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Experience in payroll process improvement.
• Skilled in Google Suite products.
