Checkmarx is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to join their Research & Development team, focusing on developing Plugins & Integrations for their cloud-native AppSec platform.

In Short

Collaborate with Product Management, architects, and developers.
Understand business and technical requirements for products and features.
Write test plans and execute manual and automated tests.
Develop new automation tests.
Maintain and manage existing automation projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Requirements

MCA or B.E. in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
0 to 1 year of SDET experience in manual and automated testing.
Knowledge of automation testing frameworks like Cypress/Selenium/Playwright is a plus.
Experience with programming languages for test automation: JS/Golang/Java/Python/C#.
Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, CI/CD, TDD) is an advantage.
Practical experience with CI environment configuration and maintenance is a plus.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
Analytic approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
