Become a part of our caring community CenterWell is seeking a hard-working and dedicated Referral Coordinator, to prepare and process all managed care referral paperwork, schedules and pre-registers patients for exams and procedures with specialists and providers outside of the primary care physician's office and who is interested in being part of a team that focuses on excellent service to others.

In Short

• Remote position with local travel required
• Prepares and processes managed care referral paperwork
• Contacts various offices to obtain appointments
• Maintains referral records and documentation
• Responds to patient inquiries regarding health plan referrals
• Adheres to HIPAA guidelines
• 1-3 years of healthcare experience required
• Proficient in medical terminology and Microsoft Office
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• 32 hours scheduled per week

Requirements

• 1-3 years of hands-on healthcare experience
• Referral experience mandatory
• Proficient with medical terminology
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records
• Excellent communication abilities
• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration preferred
• Knowledge of ICD 10 and CPT coding preferred
• Medical Assistant or Professional State Certifications preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required
