  • Document insurance and demographic information accurately.
  • Re-verify benefits as necessary.
  • Act as a liaison between patients and Family Allergy & Asthma.
  • Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3 years of medical billing office experience required.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding (ICD-10 and CPT).

  • 3 years of medical billing office experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of deductibles, copays, and coinsurance.
  • Knowledge of insurance carrier guidelines.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding (ICD-10 and CPT).
  • Availity clearinghouse experience preferred.
