The Referral Coordinator is responsible for reviewing patients' insurance coverage, ensuring documentation accuracy, and serving as a liaison between patients and the healthcare provider.

• Full-time position as a Referral Coordinator.
• Review patients’ insurance coverage for eligibility screening.
• Assess financial requirements and counsel patients on benefits.
• Document insurance and demographic information accurately.
• Re-verify benefits as necessary.
• Act as a liaison between patients and Family Allergy & Asthma.
• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 years of medical billing office experience required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to multi-task.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding (ICD-10 and CPT).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of deductibles, copays, and coinsurance.
• Knowledge of insurance carrier guidelines.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding (ICD-10 and CPT).
• Availity clearinghouse experience preferred.
