Overview

The Call Center Coordinator is responsible for managing patient access and coordinating call center operations while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and promoting patient well-being.

In Short

  • Answer and manage incoming calls.
  • Schedule appointments for patients.
  • Enter patient information into the EMR system.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and standards.
  • Participate in department activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience in a medical office is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Proficient in computer use.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Must pass background checks and screenings.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
