Senior Manager of Software Engineering & DevOps - Remote

Overview

CardioOne is hiring an experienced Senior Manager of Software Engineering & DevOps to lead and scale a high-performing engineering and DevOps team. In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on development, deployment, and maintenance of software applications and infrastructure, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.

In Short

• Develop and implement DevOps strategies for system reliability and efficiency.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of applications.
• Ensure robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Write clean, maintainable code.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Optimize cloud-based infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure.
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems.

• Oversee infrastructure cost management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering or DevOps.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Experience in software development using Java or Python.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
• Experience in designing microservices and containerized applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to lead and manage engineering teams.
