• Contribute to a scalable, interface-agnostic GenAI platform powering Canva’s user support.
• Build and integrate frontend components for “Ask Canva” — our intelligent support chatbot.
• Work closely with backend and ML engineers to deliver AI-driven solutions that delight users.
• Iteratively improve frontend experiences to ensure fast, helpful, human-like assistance.
• Present new ideas and tech opportunities to elevate Canva's AI help experiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience, with a proven ability to deliver complex products autonomously and at scale.
• Deep expertise in modern web technologies (e.g., React, TypeScript, GraphQL).
• Skilled at balancing speed and quality — knowing when to experiment, when to refactor, and when to ship.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with MLEs, designers, and backend engineers.
• Excited about AI and LLMs, confident building production-grade systems that integrate with them.
• Enjoy mentoring others and raising the bar.
