Senior Software Engineer, Frontend Platform - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer at Vanta, you’ll be responsible for setting technical direction for our frontend stack and enabling our infrastructure to scale with our business. You will drive complex projects across our technical stack and mentor our talented engineering team.

In Short

• Lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders and engineers.
• Improve and maintain our internal GraphQL API.
• Set direction for our frontend testing strategy.
• Build and maintain frontend testing infrastructure.
• Improve our frontend build tooling.
• Ensure robust frontend monitoring and app performance.
• Collaborate with product engineering teams on cross-cutting issues.
• Work with talented engineers to impact our customer base.
• Contribute to building Vanta’s engineering culture.

Requirements

• Interest in learning about security or prior experience.
• Experience in technical leadership roles.
• Experience with frontend infrastructure challenges.
• Familiarity with writing codemods and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with GraphQL, Typescript, and React.
• Experience with frontend technologies like Webpack, Parcel, Mocha, Jest.
• Worked on technical initiatives for web performance or developer productivity.
