Legal Counsel, Intellectual Property - Remote

Join the team redefining how the world experiences design. As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. This role will involve supporting Canva’s content licensing and marketing campaign work within the Intellectual Property team.

In Short

• Collaborate with the global legal team on IP matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts focused on IP licenses.
• Advise on copy and content for brand marketing campaigns.
• Partner with Product & Privacy Legal Team for product marketing reviews.
• Support IP training and awareness initiatives.
• Provide legal advice on AI technologies and IP issues.
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-qualification experience required.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills are essential.
• In-house experience and knowledge of creative industries are a bonus.
